The I-VIP Programme is a new initiative by Pernas aimed at bumiputera veterans or retirees who wish to venture into entrepreneurship, particularly in the franchise business. Through this programme, I-VIP participants will have the opportunity to receive financial assistance, training, advisory services, and consultancy.

Target Groups:

• Veteran Malaysian uniformed servant.
• Government retirees.
• Corporate or private retirees.
• Voluntary Separation Scheme (VSS).
• Mutual Separation Scheme (MSS).

Purpose of Financing:

• For start-up or existing business.
• Purchase of equipment, machinery or renovation.
• Working capital

Applicant:

• Bumiputera.
• Retirees or veteran Malaysian iniformed servant.
• Age from 41-65 years old.
• Business owner(s) are free from any legal action and not declared bankrupt.
• Attend a two (2) day training session at the Franchise Institute (FI).

Companies:

• Sendirian Berhad, Partnership, or Sole-Proprietorship.
• The retiree or veterans must hold a minimum 51% shareholding in the company.
• Company is free from any legal action and not declared bankrupt.

Business:

• Syariah-compliant business.
• The brand must be registered with the Intellectual Property Corporation (MyIPO) of Malaysia.
